Malden team moves closer to reality; gets approval from Malden Redevelopment Authority

The Boston Baseball Field of Dreams, who is hoping to bring an Atlantic League team to Malden, MA (20 minutes outside of Boston) got approval from the Malden Redevelopment Authority to develop an 8-acre parcel on Commercial Street across from the MBTA Orange Line station in Malden, MA last night.

Boston Baseball Field of Dreams will have until July 17th to reach an agreement with National Grid and three other smaller companies who currently occupy the land.

Essentially this means that if the Boston Baseball Field of Dreams can come to terms with National Grid and the three other companies that occupy the land then they will be able to build their new proposed stadium on the land once they receive the proper permits from the city and state.

This is great news for the Atlantic League and baseball fans in New England.
