R.J. Rodriguez Returns To York

The York Revolution have re-signed pitcher R.J. Rodriguez for the 2012 season.

Rodriguez will be entering his third season with the Revolution. Over the last two seasons as the Rev's closer he's posted a 5-6 record with 18 saves and a 3.09 ERA, and was major of part of the Rev's bullpen during their back-to-back championships.

Rodriguez originally signed with the San Deigo Padres as an undrafted free agent in 2006 out of Bethune-Cookman University. He played three seasons in the Padres organization before joining the Pirates organization in 2009. That season he posted a 6-3 record with 27 saves and a 3.08 ERA for Lynchburg(A+).
